MICHAEL

For as long as he can remember, House of Hope Africa Co-founder Michael Mesiti, has been driven to see lives changed for the better. No matter the start a person has, Michael strongly believes that you are only one choice away from changing your future.

With 26 years experience working in child protection, community development and over 10 years facilitating short to long term missions work in Asia, Australia and Africa, Michael has adopted Zambia as his home, where House of Hope Africa’s first hub has been set up. With a mandate to bring justice to those without a “voice”, Michael always strives to stand up for the most vulnerable the organisation meets with, so that no-one is missed. He attributes his passion for this purpose because of the example of love that Jesus, his wife Chrstine and son Benjamin are to him.

CHRISTINE

With 27 years experience in child protection and community services, Christine Mesiti has a dedicated passion for child development and advocacy for those who often do not have a voice. Having been involved in short to long term missions work and support across Asia and Africa for many years, moving into full time missions was a natural progression for Christine.

Her unwavering faith and commitment to follow God’s mandate of loving others, led to House of Hope Africa being birthed. Christine’s ethos of “always stopping for the one that God puts in front of you and doing whatever you can for them”, is now an organisational catchphrase and is paramount to many families receiving help. A dedicated and proud mother to her son Benji, she wholeheartedly embraces her role within the communities as the adopted ‘mamma bear’ to so many.

OUR BOARD

To ensure accountability, governance and transparency across our work, House of Hope Africa is set up as a registered Not for Profit Organisation with full DGR (tax deductibility) in both Zambia and Australia. This is under the umbrella, One Hope Foundation Ltd.
